Auto folder creation is software service that allows you to automatically create folders in scenarios such as adding a new client.

Normally combined with the Auto Folder creation tool, this software/service will set whole folders of data with metadata tags/updates. Examples might include:

[x] Example 2 - Matter Folder, update all documents with matter name and client name.

[x] Example 3 - Update all documents within a folder called "Financial" at any level in any folder to have Document Type = Financial Documents.

Metadata is then used for searching your document libraries.
